How do I get the milestone widget to countdown in days instead of months?

  The milestone widget on the forever theme states that the countdown will be displayed in days, but it is displayed in months instead. How do I fix this?

  Hi there. The milestone widget starts out in months if the date is still a long way off, but once it’s less than a month it switches over to days. As far as I know it works the same in all themes.
