How do I get the mycompany.wordpress.com blog

    I don’t mean that exactly, of course. I have a friend who has a blog called hardcorpsgeorgian.wordpress.com That is her blog. It is perfect for what I want. I have been trying for hours to get what I want (instead of the hardcorpsgeorgian part), but I keep getting taken to various options that don’t have the wordpress.com in them, for varying fees. I just want the wordpress blog, I don’t want a website or anything else. Please help.

    Hi there, if you are specifically looking to register a WPcom site with a .wordpress.com address, at the start of the new site registration process, select Business rather than blog and keep selecting the free site options during the process.

    Also, unless your WPcom site subdomain is unique, it might not be available or it might have numbers added to the site address.
