    You cannot. WordPress.com is constantly changing and updating its platform, experimenting, improving (or not), changing. It is a free hosting service, and one of its purposes is to do such innovation.

    You could go to WordPress.ORG, though its latest version is now very like the wp.com platform here. But you would have options to add plugins to do different things… Or investigate other free-hosting sites.
