How do I get the SQL backup and site files
-
I have moved our site to another host and they have wordpress.org, but in order for our site to look the same, we need the SQL backup & site files. I downloaded/uploaded what was available from the editing area, but I didn’t get the SQL backup and/or site files, just the basic blog part.
Our domain name is bigelowlibrary.orgThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
We don’t provide SQL backups. Only the content of a site is exportable/importable into a WordPress.org site.
Sorry I can’t be more helpful with that!
Best to you.

So how can I get my site to work the way it did before? Most hosting sites provide backup files when sites migrate. I can’t get half the information that was posted on wordpress.
blog is still bigelowlibrary.wordpress.com, but the new site is bigelowlibrary.org

Hi there,
You will have to install your theme on your self-hosted site, configure your settings, then you can upload your exported XML file from WordPress.com. We don’t retain any of your content. It’s all yours!
WordPress.com and WordPress.org themes are different, and you must use a WordPress.org-theme on your self-hosted site. WordPress.com themes will work on sites hosted here only.
It sound as if you already have this information, but if it helps:
