How do I get the 'Thesis' theme on my new blog?
-
Hello all.
I’m in the process of trying to set up a wp blog for http://www.solarselections.co.uk, the sister site of http://www.solarchoice.net.au, which has been up and running for a couple of years now. We want the blog themes to be the same for each, but when I look for the Thesis theme in the list of WP themes, I can’t find it.
Is there any way I can get the Thesis theme loaded into the new solarselections.wordpress.com blog?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
On WordPress.com you can choose one from over a hundred themes, but not upload one yourself.
You can browse all available themes here: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/
If you want to use Thesis, you will have to use the .org-version of WordPress.

We cannot add themes at wordpress.COM. We are limited to the themes found in the dashboard under appearance > themes. Themes found on the internet are for self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.
Themes here have to be modified to work within the restrictions here and to support the unique features here. Themes straight off the internet (which are for self-hosted blogs) will not work here.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/You would have to self-host a installation of the wordpress.ORG software on a third-party hosting service such as godaddy, bluehost, etc., to be able to use Thesis.

Thanks a lot! I’ve figured out that I have to go through wordpress.org and actually upload the wordpress software onto our server. Kind of new to this… Cheers, again!
