How do I get the widget sidebar on individual blog post pages?
-
If viewers click on Blog, they get to the first page and have a sidebar on the right with all sorts of widgets. But if people go directly to a previous blog post because of links in my FB or elsewhere, they don’t have the sidebar to the right. Can I change that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there!
What you are pointing out is the difference in your blog page layout:
https://dominiquehurleyart.wordpress.com/Versus your individual post layout:
http://twentyelevendemo.wordpress.com/2011/05/04/a-bowl-full-of-flowers/
You will notice that this is the default in your theme, Twenty Eleven’s, demo — http://twentyelevendemo.wordpress.com/2011/05/04/featured-posts-in-twenty-eleven/.There isn’t a way to adjust this. The only option you have is to change the layout slightly by using “pull quotes” as seen here:
http://twentyelevendemo.wordpress.com/2011/05/27/pull-quotes-in-twenty-eleven/
However, this still won’t gain you access to your sidebar in individual post pages. If this is important to you, you can opt to adjust your theme to one that always displays the same sidebar in all pages. If you need assistance finding a theme like this, let me know. You can peruse them here:
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!

Thanks so much Thatrobyn! It’s not the answer I was hoping for, but very glad to get an answer either way – now I know.
