How do I get the widgets that display on my home page also to display
-
About the widgets for Suburbia. When I chose to run my page as Suburbia, these widgets showed up on Right side bar and when I went to remove them and add mine, I didn’t see them to remove them??

Does that make sense. It’s hard to describe without showing.
I can handle not having the header go across the top of page but the main thing is getting the widgets on right side figured out.Any suggestions??
Thanks a million!

The more I look at suburbia, I am not sure if it will work. It doesn’t appear to show the widgets on the home page. It shows the Pages on the right side bar but no widgets on home page. ;-(

Oh, I see.
That is not actually a widget, per se. That is meta-information about each post which is automatically included in each post. The only way that you can get rid of it is via the same Custom Design that I mentioned before.

Ok thanks. If I were to search through the themes, what am I looking for (what are the specs called in the search)?
1. Widgets show on home page and all other pages
2. Summary of post show on front page with featured image (like watson)The header is not a big deal but I would like to have a header go across the top if possible.

Sadly, I don’t believe that there is a filter function for whether or not widgets show up on the home page and every other page as well.
I can tell you that you may want to check out the Opti or the Oxygen themes, as they both have the features which you are looking for.
You may also want to check out this article for manually entering the “more” tag, which will allow you to create the summary look which you mentioned:
