How do I get this format other than from LIKE > Reblog this Post
-
Hi,
I have used the Like > Reblog this post
feature a couple of times. See here for example.

I would like to cite other web articles or from other blog in a similar manner.
Quick Press seemed like the logical choice, but it only puts a link in.I don’t mind copying a teaser text and pasting.
Many thanks

Yes, QuickPress only adds a link to the site.
But when you go through LIKE > Repost this Post
it automatically takes a little excerpt of the post, grabs an image and puts it as a quote. Please see the link above for an example. There, I just hit LIKE > Repost This Post and WordPress did all that. Nice, no?How do I do that for another blog or post, which does not have the LIKE activated, or for another website?
Thanks

Instead of QuickPress, try the Press This bookmarklet: http://en.support.wordpress.com/press-this/
