How do I get thumbnail image to display correctly when I publicize to Facebook?
-
The feature image and/or an image from the blog post is not displaying as a thumbnail when I “publicize” the blog post to Facebook. The thumbnail image that shows up when the post is publicized to Facebook is part of a sidebar widget. However, if I publish the post, and then “share” it on Facebook, the thumbnail image is correct (ie. feature image, or one of the images from the blog post). How do I get the thumbnail image to be the feature image and/or one of the images from the post when I “publicize” to Facebook?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy,
Can you send me a link to a post that this happened to you with? We’re digging into fixing some issues with Facebook and Publicize and your report can help us along.
Thanks!

Here is a link to one of the post it happened with:
http://bhboutiqueblog.wordpress.com/2013/12/12/holiday-gift-guide/To see how the post appeared on facebook you can go to https://www.facebook.com/bruderhill
you will have the scroll through the facebook page to find the post. But as you will see the image that appeared on facebook is the “contact” image from the blogs sidebar.

Thanks for the links. I’m checking that link now using Facebook’s debugging tool at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fbhboutiqueblog.wordpress.com%2F2013%2F12%2F12%2Fholiday-gift-guide%2F .
It’s pulling the expected image now. It’s possible that Facebook either initially ignored what image was requested or our signal to them to post it beat the actual publication by a split-second.
In either event, we’re digging deeper on it.
Cheers!
