When I used to share my blog on facebook, I used to have the option of choosing a photo for the thumbnail. I used to have 10 choices. . .then that dropped to 3. Now, I get no choice of thumbnail. How do I get to choose a thumbnail again?

I can tell that none of you used search because this is a frequently asked and answered question.
Unfortunately, we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include. timethief, with all due respect for all the generous help you provide on the forums, do you really have to lecture people as often as you do about searching first?
Seriously. I actually did search first, and for whatever reasons the keywords I used didn’t yield anything accept this thread, and so rather than start a new thread I added to this one.
It’s awesome that you donate as much time as you do to the forums, but you don’t have to be condescending.

You must be kidding. I did a search on exactly how often I have posted that over the course of 7 years and I rarely post it. I’m sorry that you weren’t able to locate Facebook thumbnails by searching. Please try what I posted above as the debugger does work for some.

Yes, drawingboard. . .I did search first as well. . .and the keywords I used didn’t yield anything usable, either. I actually hate to search. . .because many times I search. . .several different ways and usually come up empty. . .or stuff that doesn’t apply comes up.
