How do I get to the Blogroll button
-
The directions say sign into your account and click on Blogroll. Well, where is the “Blogroll” place to click? The links are showing “visible” but I don’t see them. I want them to show up in their own box on the side of my front page. How do you do that? Please help
-
The Blogroll has been renamed “Links” Here is what it looks like: http://support.wordpress.com/links/2/
To put the Links in your Sidebar, you need to put the Links Widget in your Sidebar.
-
Thank you but that does not tell me how. When I go to widgets there is no ADD option does that mean that I cannot have a blogroll on my contempt themed blog?
Please help me I am so frustrated. That place you sent me does not make sense to me. -
islandprincess15, the Links widget does not currently have an “Add” button because you need to add some links to your blog first.
Here is how you do it. Go to your Dashboard by logging into WordPress.
On the left hand side, go to Links. Click on that.
Now, right under the Links you clicked on, there is an “Add New” button. Click on that.
Add your new link, save it and then repeat for as many links as needed.
Go to your Widgets under Appearance and add your Links widget to the sidebar. Save.
Your done!

I had done that. I added four new links. I have them labeled Visible. I have them under category Blogroll. the links widget still has no add button next to it when I go to appearance. PLEASE help me.
-
target = blank to force it to open up in a box. I want a nice box in the sidebar for the blogroll to show up. It would look so nice.
-
When I go to your site, I see the Links widget is in use. I am not sure what the problem is. You might try reloading the Links widget by clicking on the Edit in the LInks widget and then Remove. Then save the sidebar and try adding the Links widget back to the sidebar.
By the way, you might want to link your username to your site: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/7-things-to-know-before-posting-in-wordpresscom-forums

Did you perhaps switch from another theme recently? If so, switch back to that theme, remove the links widget from the sidebar and save, then switch back to the theme you are now using and try again.
Another suggestion is to click the “show” button at the top of the available widgets column to refresh the list.

And if you are talking about this blog, http://islandprincess15.wordpress.com/ , then I see the links widget in the sidebar.
-
Nope, I am talking about the http://todopadre.wordpress.com/ blog. Is it possible that blogroll is a widget that is not available for that theme which would be a shame because it is such a nice looking blog. I did not switch recently from another theme. I am only using the top clicks widget because I can’t get this problem solved. Can you please help me?
-
and why does it say that we are working on this at 9:55 pm? It is three fifty five in the afternoon here.
-
I just gave up and switched themes from Contempt to Kubrick and I still have the same problem. The widget does not have an ADD next to it. Nothing changed by me switching themes.
-
I look so rude to other bloggers. They have links to my blog but I can’t post their links. Please tell me I don’t have to insert code. I can’t do much that is complicated technologically. Obviously. Please help me.
-
If the link widget has no ADD link, then you need to contact staff.
Also – that blog is very slow to load. You’ve got too many posts with images on the front page. Try reducing the number of posts displayed.

Also linking your name to you blog will make it easier for
the volunteers to determine what blogging platform you belong
to when you have future questions here in the forums.Teck~Line
How to link your name to your blog (With update image reference) -
Thank you for the help, Vivianpaige, I removed the sticky notes from all those posts. I never thought to do that. I linked my name to my blog, teck07, thanks. Am I the only one who cannot add a blogroll to the Kubrick or Contempt theme?
-
islandprincess15, go ahead and contact Staff at http://support.wordpress.com/contact/
Ask them to look over your blog. It may be that you have an error somewheres that is causing some sidebar issues.
