    you should try promoting via social networks. any you belong to already or ones you can join that would help promote your blog. also when you comment on web pages that relate to what you are blogging about you can include your site along with your comments.

    word of mouth is the best bet. seeing as you are in the cooking world, there is a vast network out there to share your thoughts with others who cook.
