How do I get traffic to my WordPress.org site?
-
Could you please help me transfer all my followers from ohhyesidid.com over to my ohhyesidid.org account. I have already installed jet pack.
Also how can others follow me on my new .org site? Or how can I bring traffic over to my .org site like my old WordPress.com site automatically got?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Before I can transfer your followers over, you will need to disconnect and then reconnect your Jetpack plugin. You can do that by just clicking the connected button and then clicking it again. Once you have, let me know and I will be able to transfer your followers.
In regard to your other questions, others can follow you like at WordPress.com through the Follow and Like buttons which are available in Jetpack, which you just need to activate through the Jetpack menu.
Also, there is no built in method for self-hosted WordPress.org sites to garner traffic in the same way that WordPress.com has. You may want to consider advertising and various search engine optimization options in order to drive traffic to your site.

You’re all set! I’ve gone ahead and migrated all of your subscribers over to your new blog. You can see the list right here:

Have a great week!
