How do I get uni-colour background for the posts and sidebars?

I chose a background picture in Individual design. The background looks good, but the posts and sidebars are almost not visibible. How do I get a unicolour background for the posts and a backgroundpicture for the rest of the page?

Hi there,
If you would like to add a coloured background to your post and sidebars, you can add the following bit of CSS. Note that the HEX colours (the “#777777”) can be changed to whatever colour you’d like by going to this URL: http://www.colorpicker.com/ and selecting a new colour of your choice.
The CSS code below needs to be added to your Customizer by logging in to your Dashboard and then going to Appearance >> Customizer >> CSS.
