How do I give each author a description?

I have looked and looked through the forums and I can’t find anything that’s related to what I’m looking for. I have all my authors listed on my blog and I would like to add a description next to each of their names telling what they do, etc. Except I can’t figure out how to do that. I feel like I have looked at everything in my dashboard, account, forums, etc to try and find an answer and I can’t. Anyone who can help, thank you very much.

The answer will be different if you are self-hosted or hosting here on WordPess.COM.
If your blog is on WordPress.COM, just add a new Page to your blog and call it “Authors”. Put your descriptions there.
It would help to link your username to your COM blog. Read the “8 things to know” sticky at the top of the forum.
