How do I go from free to paid with Quickinstall?

I have a free word press account started. I used Quickinstall to install the paid version with my own doman name carolweeksspeaks.com and it is not showing up. I go to the url and there’s nothing on the page.

I don’t know what Quickinstall is, but it doesn’t look like you have a blog at WordPress.com. What is your web host? It looks like Godaddy, in which case you need to deal with them and get support from the WordPress.ORG forums.

I have made this into a big mess. I want to build a website for my business with WordPress in order to learn how to be in charge of a non-profit’s website that is already established on WordPress. I was watching a YouTube tutorial and thought I was following along. I opened a WP account and got my url. It was at that point that I realized I had opened the wrong kind of account. I don’t want “wordpress.com” in the url. So I went back to the tutorial which sent me to Hostgator. I already had a domain name from GoDaddy, so I did all the steps to transfer it to Hostgator. Per the tutorial, I used Hostgator’s program QuickInstall to install WordPress. It installed it yesterday and I got an email at 6:45 pm yesterday from Quickinstall using no-reply@carolweeksspeaks as the email address. It said my new wordpress was ready and I could access it by clicking on the link, which was http://carolweeksspeaks.com/. When I click on that link or type the address in myself, it goes to a blank white screen. I wondered if my previous free WordPress account was the problem, maybe I needed to log in under that account and then access the new url from there. But I can’t find any way to do that. If you have read all of this, even if you don’t understand it, I thank you muchly and hope you are blessed enough to help an old fool try to figure this out.
