How do I handle my domain bought from a domain company?

    I bought a domain from a domain company but I forgot and I started a wordpress.com blog using that same domain name. Do I have to delete my blog and start over, linking that domain to my blog?

    Also I want to use my own host. Do I have to transfer my wordpress.com blog to wordpress.org?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    DON’T DELETE your WordPress.COM blog – if you decide to use the JetPack Plugin you will need a blog here to link to

    When you get hosting point the name servers at your registrar to your new host – your new host can help you with the correct settings

    You have almost no content on your blog here – so easiest to just upload the pictures etc to your new blog

    Since you will have a WordPress.ORG installed blog – you should make friends at WordPress.ORG for help with your new host & site
