How do I have a "Like" link to facebook

  When I put in http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003496890224 which is what appears on the browser window on my facebook page, it doesn’t work. How can I get the correct URL?

  That is just a Profile, not a Page.

  So where do I get the string that I need to put into wordpress to allow the “like” to happen? Sorry to be so stupid.

  You’ll need to actually create a Facebook Page, this will be entirely separate from your profile.

  Finally got it. Thanks for not saying, you’re a dense old lady. I did it and I’ve already been liked. Have a second problem. On my header there’s a smallish sign that says activities, buy Terry’s books. I’m sure I put it there, but have no clue how. It sounds pretty crass, so I’d like to remove it. How can I?

  You can remove it at Appearance -> Menus in your blog’s Dashboard.
