how do i have a 'site title' without it being displayed on my site ?

Hi,
I want to name my blog, but when i do the title appears by default in the top left of my page.
I am using Modularity Lite theme.
my blog here > danniogilvie.wordpress.com
how do i turn this off?

This option is theme dependent. Modularity Lite does not have the option to hide the text.

The following blog doesnt have displayed, but definitely has a ‘site title’ of ‘nocheapthrills’

and it it using the same theme as me.
do i need to upgrade for CSS enabling or something ?

Go to appearance > custom design > CSS, delete the informational text from the edit window and paste the following in. Then click the preview button. In some instances you may have to force refresh the preview page in order to see the change.
