How do I have a static front page with recent posts below it?
I have got my static front page set up and now below it i would like to have all my recent posts below. Is there a way to do this? -
I too would like the same thing…my blog is at http://organickeiki.wordpress.com/ and I added a static page to give an intro to my readers but now I can’t get the recent posts to come up under that intro. Please help!

It’s not possible here at WordPress.com for your post entries to
automatically show up on the front static page you could manually
add links to your post….

If I delete the static page…will the default page come back that had my posts on it? I can’t seem to figure out how to get that page back

@organick,
If your going to have static front page I recommend adding the page
widget so people can get to your blog entries… -
You have to go back in your settings and change it back
to were your blog entries are your front page and then I would
change the static page name to [about] so people still get your message -
