How do I hide batches of old posts?

  I want to hide — not trash– all posts older than, say, 2 months. There must be a bulk action for that sort of thing? Please advise.

  Click the drop down menu beside “Status”

  Ok, I tried using “bulk edit” but I can’t seem to change the visibility status from “public” to “private” without going into each individual post — please advise!
