How do I hide the comment feature on my pages?

I’m trying to get rid of the comment form on my pages. I’d like it to stay for my actual blog posts, but for pages like About, I don’t want it there. Is there any way to make it invisible? Is that only an option with certain themes? My theme is Elegant Grunge.

Hi Amanda – You can edit each page you don’t want it to appear on and disable comments on that particular page in this way:
