how do I hide the CREATE A FREE WEBSITE OR BLOG AT WORDPRESS.COM. at the bottom of my theme?

  I have purchased themes from wordpress and I still can’t hide the line that says thanks for creating with wordpress at the bottom. I have a free theme that I am currently using for another blog. Is there a way to hide this line on any theme?

  Please note that the footer credit is required to be displayed according to our terms of service:

  http://en.wordpress.com/tos/

  Note that even sites hosted through our VIP program, such as the TED blog, display a credit to WordPress.com in the footer. (See the bottom of http://blog.ted.com/ for an example)
