How do I hide the red underline on link hover, within a text widget?
-
Hi there
I have added social links in the footer of:
http://unaids-ap.org/However, upon hovering any of these links, the default red underline appears poking from the sides of each icon. How do I override the CSS and apply no hover state to the html code in the text widget I’ve used? This is my code:
<div><img title=” Twitter” src=”https://unaidsap.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/twitter-variation.png” alt=”Twitter” width=”35″ height=”35″ /><img title=”Facebook” src=”https://unaidsap.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/facebook-variation.png” alt=”Facebook” width=”35″ height=”35″ hspace=”10″ /><img title=”Instagram” src=”https://unaidsap.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/instagram-variation.png” alt=”Instagram” width=”35″ height=”35″ />
<img title=”YouTube” src=”https://unaidsap.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/youtube-variation2.png” alt=”YouTube” width=”35″ height=”35″ /><img title=”Email” src=”https://unaidsap.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/email-variation.png” alt=”Email” width=”35″ height=”35″ hspace=”10″ /><img title=”RSS” src=”https://unaidsap.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/rss-variation.png” alt=”RSS” width=”35″ height=”35″ vspace=”10″ /></div>Thanks,

Hi there,
This should do the trick:
.widget-area #text-7 a:hover { border-bottom: none; }Just input that under Appearance -> Customize -> CSS. Also, just for future reference, we have a forum devoted to CSS customizations here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization
In case you’re interested to learn a bit more, we have some information and resources here:
