How do I hit ‘return’ without skipping a line (double spacing)?
-
I just relocated by blogs from blogger to wordpress, and one of them is a blog where I will occasionally post a poem. Writing in stanzas involves moving to new lines very frequently, but whenever I hit the return key it skips a line. What’s more, hitting the return key twice doesn’t skip two lines, just one. So poems look like one long, continuous pile of lines with equal (and too wide) separation between lines.
How do I make it so that the spacing is single-spaced when I hit ‘return’?

Or you can type your plain text in the html editor and just use return as usual. Then switch to the visual editor to do your formating.
