I only have it in sql.gz format. I don’t have many posts so it wouldn’t be a hassle to put in everything manually.

Here is the only way to do that here:
Windows: install Xampp
Mac: install Mamp
Linux: no idea but something will existInstall WP
Import your file into the database.
Change the ‘Home’ url in wp_options in the database
Run WordPress
From that blog Tools > Export to get the file.
Sounds complex, it’s pretty straightforward and lots of guides exist.

Actually it got complex, because it seems like after I imported the file, the WP installation didn’t seem to understand that it was run on localhost, so it looked for the old adresses, which screwed everything up.
