How do I import a file WSpel.exe in to hyperlink it as a download file for users
-
I have two files, WSpel_2003.exe and WSpel_2010.exe which is the download files for our users (the free Afrikaans spellchecker for Microsoft Office). How do I import the files into http://wspel.wordpress.com to hyperlink it on our download page “Laai WSpel af”. Thank you kindly.

Thanks for your reply, but now I am lost. I’m using Inno Setup Compiler to generate the exe installation file for our users. The exe file installs several files and folders on their computers – the entire WSpel-program. How do I proceed… is there a way forward?

You could probably store the files on an online file storage service (dropbox is one) then link to the file – but a .exe file can not be stored on a WordPress.COM site

Without the exe files my new WordPress site is useless… is it possible to “store” the exe file on another server (my current service provider is Atlantic.co.za – South Africa) and hyperlink from the download page on WordPress to the exe-files on the Atlantic server?

Previously you said a EXE file cannot be stored on WordPress.Com… I am a novice and I’ll figure out Dropbox … will it accept storage of an exe file?
-
Sorry.. I missed out on what you meant… Dropbox is independent from WordPress… Will try that avenue. Thanks.
