How do I import posts from Blogger to my WordPress blog?

  I just created a new blog here at wordpress and I want to import all my posts from my old Blogger blog that I want to delete. How do I do this?

  go to MANAGE posts or MANAGE pages
  Look right; select IMPORT
  Follow screen instructions that require you to “grant access” — don’t worry, you’ll be returned to the import screen. When you have granted access to your blogger account, press the IMPORT button and watch the little bar.
  The final step is SET AUTHORS
  You’re done.
  Works like a charm.

  Hi

  It does not work for me.

  After “grant access” i get this link
  http://h1s19e.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?import=blogger&noheader=true

  then i get the text:

  Import Blogger
  Howdy! This importer allows you to import posts and comments from your Blogger account into your WordPress blog.

  To use this importer, you must have a Google account and an upgraded (New, was Beta) blog hosted on blogspot.com or a custom domain (not FTP).

  The first thing you need to do is tell Blogger to let WordPress access your account. You will be sent back here after providing authorization.

  then i am back to “grant access” again

  Any ide whats wrong?

  Every time I try to import my blog from blogger, it stops at 52 entries..and even if it says that restarting will skip duplicates posts, it still gets all the posts when I try. Help!

  Oh I think I figured it out…I think you have to set the archiving to daily. Otherwise, wp will only grab one entry per month, and if you have hundreds of entries, it will seem like it’s stuck at how many month archives you have.

  It’s working so far… *crosses fingers*

  hey how to set the archiving to daily?
  every time i try to import my blog from blogger, it stops at a few entries too :(

  just go to dashboard>settings>archieving>select daily from the drop down menu. you are done.

  There is no “archiving” in settings on a wordpress.COM dashboard.
