How do I insert a table or chart into my blog?

I’m trying to upload both charts and tables onto a new post from excel. No luck, help?

Thank you timethief, but that only inserts a link, I want the actual chart visible on the page, am I being stupid?

No not at all. If you want to embed the document itself, you will have to use a third party application like Scribd or Google Docs. Otherwise, the documents will appear as a download link.
