  I want to insert a wav file into my blog post how can I do that

  With the purchase of a Space Upgrade http://support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/ you are permitted to upload zip files and the following audio file types:
  .mp3
  .m4a
  .ogg
  .wav

  There is an embedded audio player http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/ built in to WordPress.com that will work with .mp3 files.
