  how do I insert CONTENT from a pdf (not just a link to the pdf) into a post?

  Hi there,

  We do not natively have any ability to embed a PDF, however there are a couple of different services which you can use to display the contents of a PDF on your site through the use of shortcodes.

  One of them is SlideShare, which allows you to display all sorts of presentations, including PDFs: http://en.support.wordpress.com/slideshows/slideshare/

  And the other is Scribd, which is more dedicated to documents: http://en.support.wordpress.com/scribd/

  Both of them have free accounts.

  Thanks.

  I was able to copy each page of the pdf, paste it into a paint document, save it as a jpeg, and insert it as such into my post. It worked well enough, just in case any one else out there wants to try it…
