okay, how do i put songs onto the internet, is there a specific place i should go to do this?

Use a search engine and search for something like “music file storage” there are a lot of them out there.

You have to upload the music to an online storage site. Then you use the audio “shortcode” and insert the URL (web address) of the song that you uploaded. The code would end up looking similar to this:
[audio http://wpcom.files.wordpress.com/2007/01/mattmullenweg-interview.mp3] -
The above of course goes into a post or a page.
Then in the post once you publish it, there would be a button for the readers to press to start the music.
