How do I install a custom theme- from off the Internet

  I recently downloaded a custom theme from off the Internet- and I’m pretty sure it is a reliable site. However, I am not sure how to install it onto my blog. I have looked through many sites which tell me to click the ‘add new’ button on the WordPress theme page, but the button isn’t there. I don’t know another way to install the theme, and I am useless with code and computers, so please help if you can! Thank you.
