How do I install a facebook -type “join my network” icon to my widgets?

I don’t know what a “facebook-type icon” is, so: Do you have the image you want to use? What do you want it to do, link to a site?
-
There’s currently no such widget here.
@pana: it’s the same deal as on Twitter and Blogger; a little subscribe button associated with a widget that displays the avatars of all your “followers” or network members as links to their sites. WordPress should have one, because they’re incredibly popular. Anything that makes a blog give links to its readers is really popular with blog readers.

You’ve saved hours a day, I swear. not that there’s anything there, but it’s like flipping channels of the tv…surely there’s SOMETHING good out there?

I signed up for facebook because someone wanted to show me some pictures, which I looked at. But then I got emails asking me to be friends or something. I think I responded politely but not sure. They were husband, daughter, sisters-in law…Then someone wrote on my “wall”?
Is this something I should look at to understand what it is?
grak.

Facebook is a strange creature. I signed up so I could do some testing and figure it out (never did completely). An old friend I had lost touch with did find me through faceplant, and we’ve been doing the “wall to wall” thing. It was nice to catch up on what he and his family has been doing. I too received a few invites to be friends, but the ones I received were dubious at best so I didn’t do anything with them at all.

Well, you (I or iWhatever™) could respect the power of having this internet thing
(ok, faceplant, but that’s creepy). My husband discovered his twin brothers that we never would have met without the amazing digital connections.
Granted, not via facebook. But when you are 50+ all this tech stuff blends together. what was it? Blackberry.
