how do i install a meetup.com widget on my blog
-
I cannot figure out how to install a meetup widget on my site. All forums I have come across are only for wordpress.org and require a plugin, I have the wordpress.com version and cannot find any help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That is not possible here. We cannot install JavaScript widgets for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
re: plugins
This is a multiuser blogging platform. Our blogs are not free standing. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins. There is no upgrade you can purchase that will provide FTP access and the ability to install plugins, upload themes, and/or edit templates and themes in a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

To use plugins you must hire a web host and then set up your own WordPress.org install. Please read this comparison > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ -
See here as it may suit your purpose > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/upcoming-events/
Or craft your own text and links and display them in a text widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/
