how do i install a plugin?

    I am trying to install Skimlinks into my blog, on their website there is a guide showing you how to install it, you click on plugins in the admin area and go from there. however i don’t have the plugins button so i don’t know how to install it.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Many of the features that people use plugins for are already built in here at WordPress.com so they are often unnecessary here. We don’t have any sort of built-in Skimlinks integration, but you can use any regular text-based affiliate links as long as they’re within the context of your site:

    If you really want to use Skimlinks, you might look into a self-hosted WordPress site, as plugins aren’t permitted at WordPress.com for security reasons. You can read more about the differences here:
