how do i install a theme?

    i host my own themes but for me to be able to edit them i have to install them on the wordpress site, ive searched everywhere on wordpress.com and wordpress.org and dont see how on earth to install and activate my wordpress them. please someone help me.

    If you have downloaded free software from wordpress. ORG the correct support forum to post to is found here http://wordpress.ORG/support

    If you have a wordpress.COM blog then there is no FTP access and you cannot install a theme. The only themes you can use are found here -> Appearance -> Themes
