How do I install a theme I already have downloaded in a Zip file?

    How do I install a theme I already have downloaded in a Zip file? These are the instructions I have been given:

    In your WordPress admin, go to Appearance > Themes. On that screen, click the tab that says, “Install Themes.” In the menu directly below the tab, click “Upload.” Upload the ZIP folder. Upon completion click “Activate.”

    However, I can’t find the tab that says Install Themes! Please could you tell me where I could locate this, or have you now removed this option?

    Hi there.

    If you are utilizing a WordPress.com-hosted site, you cannot use third-party themes. You would have to choose from one of our 250+ free or premium themes. View those here:

    http://theme.wordpress.com/

    If you absolutely want to use your outside theme, that can only be done on self-hosted sites via WordPress.org.
