how do i install the custom theme i bought?

    hi!

    i recently purchased storefront designer as a custom theme for the new site i’m going to be launching. i linked to it off of wordpress, and it seemed a lot less complex than it now appears to be. i’m looking for help on where to find my ”’/wp-content/plugins/’” folder so i can upload the plugins i need to. there are lots of forums but they seem to be telling me opposite things. on one hand there is stuff about us not being allowed to upload custom themes, but i purchased this theme by linking off your site, so there must be some kind of mistake? i’d really appreciate it if you could give me a step by step instruction on how to install this sort of product? i promise to share it far and wide in your forums so you don’t get asked stuff like this as often as you probably do!

    I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com, and the same for plugins. Those are features of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org.

    You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard. If you are CSS-savvy, you may want to look into purchasing the Custom CSS Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer:
