How do I Invite Followers to my blog?

I am trying to invite a list of approved followers from a different website to follow my new blog on wordpress. I’ve read your Support sheet on “Invite People to View Your Private Blog”, and have copy and pasted a few of their emails (separated by commas) to the magic block, however, I get an error message saying “The username or email is not recognized by WordPress”. They are not WordPress users, but I’m trying to get them to be. Now what do I do????

Where are you copying and pasting them from? You might try manually entering one of the emails to see if the copy/paste is the issue rather than the address itself.
