How do I keep a blog content but not the domain?
-
I am currently an administrator for a blog (school related) with other people and the person bought a domain name last year. It expired about 4 days ago but we currently don’t have the money to renew it. I would like to keep the content of it because it is important. Is it possible to switch it to have a .wordpress.com instead of a .com website?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your content is safe and will not be deleted or lost (unless you delete something)
The owner of the upgrade can go to
Dashboard >> Store >> My Domains and set the Primary back to mcgillwasteproject.wordpress.com/ – They might also need to cancel the Domain Mapping
Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades
I will flag this for staff help if you have trouble
To get the staff to help with this – you will need to have the upgrade owner log into this thread and ask for the help removing the domain mapping

As mentioned before your content will be safe and is still available at http://mcgillwasteproject.wordpress.com
You can cancel or renew the domain at https://mcgillwasteproject.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades
