How do I keep a deleted test post fro being found by Google searh engines?
-
A deleted test post is showing up in Google search. It was a test post that my client was playing around with and it is showing up in Google search but was deleted from the site on our end. It has incorrect information and an inappropriate BG image. This is the URL for the deleted page:
http://drdarahayden.com/item/albany-office-jan-8-feb-11-2/Is there any way you can take this off the WP server? i submitted a URL removal request to Google but it is still there. Also, do you know why this happened and is there any way to prevent it in the future?

Hi there,
That page hasn’t been deleted from your site yet, which is why you can still see it when you visit that URL. You can delete it by going to Food Menus > Menu Items in your dashboard. You’ll see two items titled “Albany Office – Jan. 8 – Feb. 11” in the list. If you hover over the second one, the “Trash” link will come up and you can send the post to the trash.
Once the post has been trashed, it will eventually be removed from Google’s search results. Submitting a URL removal request is the right thing to do in this case — Google will eventually remove deleted pages from its search results, and the only way to speed up that process is to get in touch with Google about it.
Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this. :)
