how do I keep a static home page with posts on same page?
-
I am using the Together theme. I’ve set up a page that I want as the static home page, followed by blog posts on the same page. (I know this is possible. See for example https://scrapbookhistory.wordpress.com/ ) But I can’t seem to get the posts to show up following the static permanent material. The blog post is here: https://mydaymonjour.wordpress.com/
and the intro page is here: https://mydaymonjour.wordpress.com/about/ but I can’t get them into the same space, which is what I want. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have two choices only on any blog
(1) All posts on the front page.
(2) A static front page and posts on a different page.By default the front page of your blog displays all published posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. That is for the convenience of your returning visitors.
However, if you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts. To do that create two pages first http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.

Thanks. I WANT all the posts to show up on the front page, following a permanent intro, as is done on the example I cited and many more. (Sorry if I used the wrong words for that.) But somehow that’s not happening, even if that should be the default. How do I get it to do that?
