How do I keep Email responses from subscribers?

    I need to send an automated email to subscribers weekly (eg on Thursdays) to ask if they can play touch rugby the following Monday. I preferably need a link to be included in the email. When they respond yes/no I need to save their response against their name/email in a table that I can then edit to put the people in teams for the week. This table needs to be cleared each week before the next automated email goes out.

    Can this be done, if so how? I am new to wordpress & web so have limited knowledge at the moment.

    WordPress.com does not have options for sending automated emails like you have described. I think this is something you will either need to do manually through your email program and then tally the results in a spreadsheet or find a dedicated service that may be able to send automated messages for you. I’m afraid I don’t know of any services like that, but you might try asking in the forums at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/ to see if anyone in the community has some more experience with things like that.
