How do I keep informed of new WP features?

  I notice that WP keeps changing the way I used to do things.
  It’s a bit aggravating looking at a new screen and realizing that my old way of doing things has disappeared.

  Is there a blog which shows all the latest WP changes and how to handle them?

  Sometimes announcements are made here http://en.blog.wordpress.com and you can subscribe to that blog. However, many changes made are not announced there immediately or at all.
