How do I keep the first 6 blog posts static on front page?

  I want all future blog posts to not show on home page, but I want them to appear at bottom of page under ‘Recent Posts.’ In other words, I want the current 6 posts on the home page to remain static. Thank you for any help on this.

  Hi @mamavega, you’d be welcome to make all six of those posts sticky, which would force them to remain at the top. Here’s how:

  Or, if you can find images to go with them, you might consider using a theme that has a featured post slider. That way your six posts could appear in a slideshow and everything else could go under that. https://toujoursdemo.wordpress.com/ comes to mind.
