How do I know if I have or get the "Premium" that I have paid for

Paid for premium and you still ask me to upgrade, don’t even know if i’m using premium, I am not a computer geek and don’t understand 99% of what I am doing here

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Howdy,

You do have our Premium Bundle—you can see your upgrades at https://explorer1blog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades

Where is the site still asking you to upgrade? I’d like to check into it and find out what may be going on.

    Thanks!

I log in I think at explorer1blog.wordpress.com and basically on the navigation page where I post new blogs I think there is always a small icon button thing prompting me to upgrade to premium. I appologise, I am very unfamiliar with blogging, well computers in general really. I thought the premium would allow me to dress up the blog a bit. Maybe I do have it and just don’t yet quite know how to use it. On thing I can offer for your own future reference is that everyone on these blogging or whatever sites seem to assume that just because we found you means we must be computer literate. That is not always the case, I myself find it extremely difficult to figure out how to use your WordPress thingy. Many Thanks. Jon.

  • Hi Jon,

Are you referring to this button near the bottom-left?
    https://cloudup.com/cdEbkXueFT0

That’s a standard part of the footer for our WordPress.com pages, but can understand the confusion. Each of our upgrades are per individual site (e.g. http://explorer1blog.wordpress.com/ ) and quite a few users have multiple sites, so that’s why it’s present all the time.

I’ll check with our teams on how we can make this better.

With the Premium Upgrade, you can change your colors and fonts via our Customizer. You can get to it from your site’s dashboard (at http://explorer1blog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ ), then go to Appearance->Customize on the left side. A direct link to the page is https://explorer1blog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php

Additionally, with Premium, all ads are removed from your site, you can upload audio files and videos to your site and add a domain name (e.g. http://explorer1blog.com).

Thanks for the feedback. We do aim to meet the skill level of all our users, but we do sometimes fall into bad habits working in the system all day and can miss the mark trying to write some things for our more technical users, but not providing a good reference back for folks who aren’t.

If there is anything in particular that is frustrating, please do let me know and I’m happy to help.

    Thanks again!

Excellent, thanks once again for your assistance, yes that is the button I was referring to. Now I might have some fun and try to customise the blog
