how do i know who is following me that dont have a wordpress account

  I am recently new to this site, i am trying to see who my followers are and how many i have, on my site stats it says i have four but that says total word press followers, but how do i know how many non word-press followers i have. I did add ‘FOLLOW BLOG VIA EMAIL Click to follow this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.’ but it says 159 so i guess im asking if that would be the number of followers i have total…

  Hi there. The stats page shows how many people follow your blog via their WordPress.com accounts, via email only, and via social media accounts you have connected via publicize. The email stat is specifically people who signed up to follow via email who DON’T have WordPress.com accounts as well, so that’s probably what you’re looking for. https://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#totals-followers-shares

  However, keep in mind that people can also follow your site via blog directories like Bloglovin (some directories list your site whether or not you’ve signed up for their service), or they can follow you RSS feed directly using any RSS reader from feedly to FlipBoard. There’s no way to know who these followers are, or even how many of them there are, as WordPress.com has no way of obtaining that data.
