How do I launch/publish a blog site using the free service?

  Hello,
  I am trying to launch my new blog site using the free service but when I do it directs me to choose a domain name and price plan. Can anyone help?

  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Type a random word in the domain box. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see your free address and “skip purchase” and “continue with free”.
