  Hi there,

  Here is a great tutorial with five foundational steps for creating a website: https://wordpress.com/support/five-step-website-setup/

  Basically, for a free site, you would use a free WordPress.com subdomain for your site address, and hosting is provided free of charge on WordPress.com.

  Hi there, just adding that when you go to launch your site, keep clicking on the “free” option as you go. You might need to hunt a little for it, but it’s there.
